School photography ordering

My client's photography business had run picture day with paper order forms for 15 years. Customers filled out their details, and wrote in packages, backdrops, and quantities by hand.

I built the client a fully-custom, public-facing site so customers can order and pay on their phone or computer. Easier checkout means happier customers.

Staff then had to manually retype every order into the print lab's ordering system. Peak season meant late nights, misspelled names, and lost time calling customers for clarification.

My application includes back-office admin tools that give the business owners a smooth way to add, remove, or update products and pricing, and export a clean data file the lab can directly ingest. Same family business, no more manual data entry.

When customers needed to pay with a credit card, they had to call the business on the phone, during business hours.

I integrated the client's existing payment processor into the new ordering application. This eliminated the need for customers to call the business to pay with a credit card, and ensured the business does not need to handle payment information.
